15 Must DO Things for a Healthy Body and Mind

- Skin health
The first look matters: for yourself, look after your skin from age 21 by keeping it hydrated day and night; always wear an SPF screen both with the moisturizers and your foundation. It has been proven by science that body and skin peptides and tissues start degenerating from 20 years’ age
- Infertility
The statistics of infertile people in developed countries are quite alarming. One in every 6 couples is infertile and One in 3 are cases where men are infertile. Some of it has to do with stress, diet, an overload of information, and major diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and Materialism. Women are postponing having children by freezing their eggs. A lot of this is related to the meat industry and fast-food culture as well.
- Body fitness
Exercise regularly to keep your muscles toned up. There is no substitute to walking, jogging, and running in keeping your metabolism active and blood flows regulated. The fulvic acid in our bodies keeps the momentum of blood flows besides other minerals. But sometimes our bodies just don’t make enough of CoQ10. Obesity leads to overeating and binge eating and vice versa. The use of alcohol also does the damage in affluent and below poverty line societies.
- Fast foods, Sugar & Salt
Avoid fast foods and sugary bakes as much as you can. We need to do as we preach to our children. Our food habits swing between processed meats, energy drinks, and specialized dessert restaurants. Leave aside MacDonald’s, Wendy’s and Ice-creams to indulge our children, we eat out more and more. You may be knowing renowned chefs who brag about eating home-cooked meals and don’t eat at their own restaurants and buffers.
- Natural Foods
Having natural foods is a must. Foods that deliver high quantities of Omega 3, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory, and immunity-boosting properties. The obesity epidemic has taken the developed world by a storm and the shocking rate of major diseases taking lives is beyond the comprehension of the common man. Educated people like you have started making smart choices. The developing countries are starting to pod along. Having said that, too little too late.
- Education and awareness
Always check the ingredients in packed foods before you buy them. Specifics like saturated fats, sugar, and carbs must be kept to the minimum. Educate your children early on to read labels and decipher things that are unhealthy choices. They’ll thank you for this life skill.
- Natural Superfoods
Try and take natural superfoods high in enzymes, minerals, fulvic and humic acids to keep your blood & metabolism moving, detoxing, and regenerating your cells. With bio-regenerative keep your fountain of youth and defy mental aging at the same time.
- Consumption of herbs
Not all herbs are good or bad. To keep your tree of life healthy and young, consume herbs with dopamine, chamomile, lavender, jasmine, saffron and others in consultation with Ayurveda doctors or naturopaths, depending on your specific body type. Some of you may not like the taste of herbs and may not like to take them directly. You can use the above according to your taste and this will assist you in tackling, indigestions, detoxing, pains, viruses, and boosting your immunity.

While technology is a boon and has opened the world to infinite possibilities in most fields it has its own adverse consequences. Take extended breaks from technology to avoid Adrenal fatigue and mental decline.
13. Rituals and a quiet mind
Start your mornings with some rituals. Rise and shine early in the mornings for better focus especially during the twilight moments (between sleep & wakefulness). Once you become aware you will want to focus on better mental agility. A quiet mind is an aware mind and as Eckhart Tolle in his book “The power of now”, puts it as ‘awareness’ and the ‘now’ through concentration and meditation can achieve happiness.
14. Fear of Aging
Many millennials find it hard to comprehend and come to terms with aging, lack of possibilities, and diseases in the twilight years. Some of you may actually be fearing aging partly due to the big mysteries of major diseases and viruses still unsolved and mainly due to the lack of money due to most pension and, super-annulation funds and deferring of the age of pensioners’ issues. Listen to your heart, nurture your body and mind and you must not fear to age. With a little health consciousness and financial planning, life can be really good for you to post your children leaving the nest.
- Synthetic Supplements
